Kafa'ati - my efficiency - is a plan to introduce energy and water efficient technologies in commercial, government and institutional buildings. As cooling and lighting consume the majority of power in these buildings, the Kafa'ati program aims to save 446 GWH of electricity annually, covering 5 million square metres of air-conditioned space.
The initiative will initially focus on government buildings with plans to cover private ones in 2019.
